Review: "White Swan" by Jason Stoddard

What happens when the world changes the substance of who we are and the damage done is the seed of dissent? “White Swan” by Jason Stoddard explores a future wherein genetic manipulation has become the staple of life.
This story furiously hurtles along, gripping and pulling you into the ambiance of this science fiction thriller. I was dragged, kicking and screaming, into the entirety of this prose without sympathy; for lack of remorse. I enjoyed every tantalizing, brazenly dark second of it. I felt like I was in the movie-version in my head directed by Stoddard channeling some horrifically brilliant combination of the Coen brothers and Danny Boyle.
When my eyes adjusted to reality, my mind stayed in this futuristic and tumultuous world Stoddard created. This is how superbly written stories get wedged inside your mind.
